Gyula higher education day on 29th January

Traveling in Health, a conference on the challenges of health tourism education was organized on Wednesday in the Mayor's Office of the spa town on the occasion of Gyula Higher Education Day.

Local higher education was taken over by Gál Ferenc College three years ago, thus preserving the education in the city. The initiative is related to this event.

At the conference dr. Attila Rákóczi, Director General of the Government Office of Békés County, who among other things drew attention to the fact that the training of Gál Ferenc College contributes to the strengthening of the population retention power of the county. Mayor Ernő Görgényi reminded the audience that the higher education in Gyula has a history of nearly thirty years, and that Gál Ferenc College can ensure its survival in the long run. Dr József Kovács, Member of Parliament, explained that the city provides an appropriate venue for higher education.

Dr. Andrea Homoki, dean of the GFC's Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, said the program was launched for the third time. The event is always linked to one of their majors, this time focusing on health tourism. Dr. Gábor Kozma, Rector of the GFC, highlighted the growing demand in society for services created from the meeting of health and tourism.

- Providing innovative, world-class services that require in-depth knowledge, high routine, international knowledge, adaptation to local practices and opportunities - said dr. Gábor Kozma. - All this is a beautiful and serious challenge for the training professionals.
